Underbody blast loading induced by landmines and improvised explosive devices is one of the most critical threats to military vehicles and occupants. In this study, the effects of blast location on the structural response and dynamic load transfer characteristics of a military tactical vehicle were numerically investigated. A finite element model of the vehicle structure, including the blast protection plate, cabin floor, and seat structure, was developed using Abaqus/Explicit. Two representative blast scenarios were considered: a front-wheel underbody blast and a central underbody blast beneath the cabin. A 6 kg TNT equivalent charge was applied based on the STANAG 4569 Level 2 protection condition, and the blast loading was implemented using the CONWEP model. The time histories of reaction force and acceleration were extracted at the protection plate, cabin floor, and seat locations.
